On May 19th, our upper elementary students visited our state capitol and toured the Legislative Building, historic State Capitol building, and the Museum of History. Our students had the privilege to learn more about how our laws are made and the history of the capitol. We enjoyed sitting in the gallery of the Senate and looking at the vastness of the rotunda of the State Capitol building. It was also amazing to see the historical artifacts in the Museum of History that began with early Native Americans. We look forward to being able to visit our capitol again!
